Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things.

Pitfalls to building resilience through gratitude
Narcissism - When you focus your gratitude on the things that you believe you control, you’re not building resilience, but narcissism.
Entitlement - When you focus your gratitude on how comfortable your life is, you’re not building resilience , but entitlement
The impact of practicing gratitude on your mental health
Improved Mood: Regularly acknowledging what you're thankful for can enhance overall mood and increase feelings of happiness and contentment.
Reduced Stress: Focusing on positive aspects of life can help mitigate stress and anxiety, leading to a calmer mental state.
Enhanced Resilience: Gratitude can foster a sense of resilience, helping individuals to better cope with challenges and bounce back from adversity.
Better Sleep: People who practice gratitude often experience improved sleep quality, as reflecting on positive thoughts before bedtime can reduce negative thinking that disrupts sleep.
Increased Self-Esteem: Gratitude encourages individuals to appreciate their lives and achievements, which can enhance self-worth and reduce feelings of envy or resentment towards others.
